Phox Health’s PhoxOS healthcare logistics platform is now integrated with Epic and available through Epic Showroom, making it the first and only direct delivery solution available through Epic’s secure app marketplace.
The integration brings pharmacy delivery workflows closer to the EMR, allowing delivery requests and confirmation data to move between Epic and PhoxOS in real time.
Unlike solutions that rely on third-party carrier tracking or disparate courier networks, PhoxOS connects directly with Phox Health’s managed delivery network, TRAX, giving health systems greater visibility and accountability from pharmacy pickup through final delivery.
What the Integration Brings Into the Workflow
Real-Time Delivery Requests and Confirmations: Delivery activity can move directly between PhoxOS and Epic.
Chain-of-Custody Visibility: Healthcare teams can access detailed handoff and delivery documentation.
Proof of Delivery: Includes triplicate photo proof, geolocation, digital signature, and signee details.
Cold-Chain Monitoring: ArcticPhox provides minute-by-minute temperature reporting from pickup to delivery.
Long-Term Documentation: Delivery records can be retained for up to 10 years.
